The O'Reilly Radar team provides insight, analysis, and research about emerging technologies on the Radar blog. At O'Reilly, a big part of our business is paying attention to what's new and interesting in the world of technology. We have a pretty good record at having anticipated some of the big technology developments in recent history. We call this predictive sense the “O'Reilly Radar.”

What is the Radar Chinese site (radar.oreilly.com.cn)?

The Radar Chinese site (RadarCN) is a wiki that has both Chinese and English versions of the Radar blog. We created it to bring Radar information into the Chinese world, as well as to listen to the Chinese audience.

How can I participate in the discussion on the Radar Chinese site?

Anyone can participate in the discussion, without registration.

Can I subscribe to Radar posts by email, besides RSS feed?

Yes, so as you log in RadarCN.

How can I participate in translating the Radar blog ?

We have adopted a Web 2.0 approach to the establishment of RadarCN. If you want to translate posts or edit others' translations, just email radarman at mail.oreilly.com.cn for permission to edit.

How do I use the Wiki syntax?

You can refer to Wiki syntax. Any problems? Send an email to radarman at mail.oreilly.com.cn.

We have adopted a wiki platform to allow readers to participate in translation. You are welcome to translate an article, a paragraph, a sentence, or edit an existing translation to improve it.

When you start to translate an article, please put a notice in the page, for example, “radarman is currently translating this article, please wait before making any changes” to avoid duplication of translation. Don't forget to take the notice off when you're done!
